1) Meet in person to discuss your wedding plans. Once you commit to having Rabbi Mayersohn officiate at your wedding he will be available by phone and email for any and all of your questions.
2)He will also help you create a wedding program explaining all of the wedding rituals of the ceremony. Rabbi Michael has a template readily available that he can email to you right away. All you have to do is fill in names and dates and customize however you want.
In addition, Rabbi Michael has prepared a document called, "How to Get Your Wedding License" and will provide a free Ketubah (Jewish Wedding Document) at your request. See picture below.
3)Rabbi Michael Mayersohn will meet with you again right before your wedding day to make sure everything is ready and will review any last minute changes.
4)Then comes your wedding day. He will arrive about an hour early. He will make sure everything for the ceremony is ready to go, making sure the venue provides a table at the Chuppah for the ritual objects of the wedding. Rabbi Michael will take care of the signing of the license and ketubah with you and your witnesses before the ceremony begins. Feel free to invite your photographer and/or videographer to the signing.
5)During the ceremony Rabbi Michael will make sure that you are able to enjoy your special moment and will take care of all the details. Be ready for some fun during the ceremony. Your guests wil enjoy the beauty and meaning of the ceremony.
6)Rabbi Mayersohn will mail your signed Marriage License to the appropriate county.
7)Chuppah rentals are available through Golden Dreidel. Go to the Contact Page to find a link to the Golden Dreidel.
Another important part of your wedding is the entertainment. Rabbi Michael's son-in-law, Brent Rosen, has been a professional DJ for 10 years. His team DJ's weddings, and other events and will give you a $50 credit if you mention Rabbi Michael.
When Rabbi Michael meets with you his second goal, after getting to know you as individuals and as a couple, is to learn about your vision of your wedding ceremony. He will want you to share your vision of what the ceremony will look like, what customs and rituals you want included, adapted or left behind. Your vision will shape the ceremony and Rabbi Michael will help you to make it a reality.
Your wedding ceremony will be the beautiful, meaningful and personal moment you want it to be and Rabbi Michael will make sure it fulfills your hopes and dreams.
